on my bfg 6800 it says it uses hynix 2.2ns ram... from my understanding isn't 2.2ns = 900mhz? how come i can't get it to run anywhere close to 900mhz right now? aren't i still trying to run it within spec? i remember my fx5900 also had the same ram and it ran at like 960mhz. on my 6800 it's only detecting at about 770mhz =[. idle temps around 49-51c... load temps ~70c

Is this a non ultra regular or GT? I can only then tell you if its normal.

it's a bfg geforce 6800oc stock at 350/700... leadtek cards come with 2.8ns ram but i've seen most people getting mid 800's on their overclocks (2.8ns = 700mhz)

Its always the draw of the hand when you get a video card, remember that. Nothing is guarenteed.

It would seem the memory as well as pipes is what relegates the BFG from GT status to OC status. Mine wont OC for crap either.

Im running 400/900 on my BFG 6800OC. Use powerstrip to OC, the detect clock feature works for shit. Oh and btw it have all 16 pipes and 6 vertex shaders enabled.

My Albatron has hit 825mhz so far, and I really dont think I've maxed it out yet. Im not sure what ram is on it, though my bet is it is 2.2. Even if the ram is rated at 2.2 though it doesnt mean it will hit that speed.

i guess i'm very lucky with my xpertvision 6800nu.. memory runs 931mhz out of the box. can prob push bit higher.. i use powerstrip to oc n 931mhz is max allowed. the core can get bit over 410mhz. n runs fine with 16,6 pipes. :)
