I'm not sure if this was asked in the past. I currently have a AMD Athlon XP Mobile 2600+ overclocked to 2.41GHz (200x12 @ 1.7v). Its been running like this for over a month with no issues. However, after overclocking, the Windows Systems Properties lists it as an "Unknown CPU Typ". Should I be worried about this? Should I force the default K7 driver to work with it? Does it really make a difference in performance either way?

the only reason that it lists your CPU as an "unknown CPU Type" is due to the fact that the computer does not recognize it as a known CPU examples: 3200+ 2600+ 2500+ etc..... This however will not affect performance I have many motherboards do this to me... If I were you I would not even give it a second thought.....
