If i was selling a CPU that I know is a good overclocker should the asling price be highter than web retail (newegg price is a good example) or should it go for a lower price since it is used?

hope this is the appropiate place for this type of question

I'd say def lower...doubt many people would pay extra just for a card they know is good for oc'ing. It would def be a bonus and an incentive for someone to buy the card if they were looking to oc knowing it takes the oc'ing well...Only used things that usually tend to go above retail are collectors items. Just my opinion, hope it helps.

Doesn't really go here but no one will buy your CPU at anything higher than NEW prices if it's used it's used. 3000+ Venices that OC to 2.7ghz stablily have gone for $100-110 shipped. Alot of members also don't overclock so they could care less about that factor...

In my experiance with my old opteron, as long as people KNOW they are getting a "JEM" you can ask a higher price as these are one in a thousand such as a CABNE stepping opteron. If this particular card or chip is identified as being a "mediocre" stepping or brand such as a cabye or cab2e opteron but has shown itself to be a good overclocker for you charge retail. If the card or chip is a mediocre stepping but has shown itself to be a shitty overclocker, or its a crap stepping like a cabge stepping opteron, sell it for a lil less than retail.
