I've been wondering, and I haven't found any good answers yet. I love Cool n' Quiet on my 965BE and love saving an extra 100W when my computer is just idling, as well as less heat.
But, when overclocking I noticed that any manual change to the Vcore results in disabling Cool n' Quiet, or at least not letting function even though it's clearly enabled in the BIOS under CPU setting.
Would there be a way to keep a stable overclock yet enable Cool n' Quiet?
What type of energy cost would there be between a Cool n' Quiet enabled system vs. full blast OC'd?
