I was able to overclock q6600 to 400 FSB (x9) and 1.5275C with no errors on prime95 for 10 hours. However, when I overclock to q6600 to 405 or 410, my comp restarts withing 15 minutes. Even if I raise the voltage , the comp restarts. Doesn't anyone know of a particular reason why? I doubt it is cooling because when I first reached 400 my core temps were around 75C and my PWM temps were around 95C but now, after careful fan placement and side panel removal, temps are at 65C core and 80C PWM so I significantly dropped temps. I disabled C1E and EIST. I also dont think its voltage because ive raised it quite a bit but the comp still restarts, doesn't anyone have any ideas why my comp restarts passed 405 fsb?

It's your temps.

65c on core and 80c on pwm is way too hot to keep a stable AND long lasting rig.

Recommendation: Stick with the lower FSB or get better cooling before you oc.
