I'm trying to overclock my PC but everytime I try, the motherboard stops seeing my HDs and it fails to boot. The only time it works is if it's at 3.2 or less. Specs are in the sig. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Could be that your system isn't stable when you try to overclock (northbridge/CPU overheating, etc.) Maybe you should try raising your VCore voltage and see if that helps. Some better cooling might be in order as well.

What temps are you getting stock ? What cooler do you have... and lastly, how much are you trying at a time.

Overclocking, safely... isnt as easy as just setting FSBxMultiplier adding voltage and ensuring your ram will do it.

I really suggest you read as much as you can so you can ask a more specific question. Believe me, I'm teh last person to tell someone to search... but in your case, I think you should see the whole picture first.

Oops, forgot to add it to sig. Cooling is a Coolermast Aquagate watercooler. Tems are in the low 30's and close to 40 under load.

Quality Power Supply ?

Have you tested out your memory?

you may just have a processor that doesnt want to OC.

The first thing you should do when you start to OC your system is...

Lock your AGP/PCI bus

Also make sure you have latest mobo bios and chipset drivers.

Finally got it up and running. I had to lock the AGP/PCI but (Thanks for the advice) Got it upto 3.6 with a temp of 53C under load. Ran two instances of Prime95 with any probs. Thanks for tips and advice.
