It seems that the either don't want to get mowed by EVGA or they are coming after us, both?

After the driver shens I've got my farm stable at ~30-32k with the possibility of a bit more "D". We need to find more members or shake the GPU tree for some more equipment because what we have wont cut it in a few months at OC.net pace.

This lookes like one very healthy chart :eek:

our pace has slowed significantly in the last few months. With our given economy people are having to re-evaluate their priorities. my wife has concerns so further expansion isn't an option for another month or two. she doesn't know how much my last rig cost because it came out of my business funds. i have my next boxen spec'd out but may need her approval to move forward.
 
well theres still a lot of us that arent running F@H anymore.. but if need be ill start my 8800GT back up on F@H which is an easy 6000+ ppd..

but even with their current PPD it will take them almost a year to catch us..

I think with the newer WU it will top out at 5k with a good OC. (I might be mistaken but my 9800GT cards max out about there)

during the old test WU's i was doing about 6500 PPD, on the slower ones i was doing about 3800-4000 PPD.. i havent checked the new ones out yet.. i run my 8800GT at 760/1890/1015.. which is my gaming overclock but works perfectly fine for folding.. gpu never gets over 45C when folding..
 
hmmm i guess we need to start recruiting huh! I don't like even the remote prospect of being over taken!:(
 
I'll throw a 8800GTS back on FAH and start helping out again.
I don't want to loose a #1 spot that so many have worked hard to acquire.

:eek: I don't even like the sound of being over taken :eek: Like brother sirmonkey1985 said, a lot of us are using other DCing programs. In my case I'm using the BOINC WCG program, but if somebody does get the crazy ideer to try and over take us I'm sure we'll band back together and come out with more "D' than the law allows :p

I know I will and many other people will go back to F@H, both GPU and SMP ;) Hell, as hard as our "old timers" worked to get us #1 we owe it to them to keep up the tradition :)

I know this might sound "lame", but we won't leave all you "heavy hitters" in a lurch, we'll do our best to help :cool:

What kind of production are the ATI guys seeing?

I have some potential borging possibilities, but they are all ATI boxens. Not many, but it sounds like everything we can get is needed now.....

Some infos here would be helpful....

One half to two thirds the production of a similar priced NV card.

Well, I'll see what I can do.... know a few folks at work with some pretty decent hardware, might be able to add a couple boxens before too long.....

Hmm, I just went over our stats briefly and the only team currently outproducing us is EVGA. They will overtake us in just under 18 years...

Personally, I hope nitteo continues to add to his farm at an enormous rate and whips his boys to shape, because the more people who fold the better for the project overall, and the more competition at the top, the more people will fold. So, I say a round of beers is in order for the guys at Overclock.net! :D :cool:

well after reading that post.. looks like 12:00 AM april 1st i will be folding.. as for the rest of this month my systems are staying idle.. pos electricity prices in california are a joke..

hell no.. but i want to shut them up and make them cry when they see our team PPD hit 5 million.. then i want to see if they think they can catch us.. :p hell we should just do that for the hell of it.. people that are only running half farms.. run the full farm for 1 day see how fast OCN freaks out when our PPD doubles.. :p

though i think we need to start posting on the news section about F@H & WCG on the news section maybe once a week.. we need to peak some more interest into the projects.. havent seen anything in months on the news section..

Besides that, we also need to go into the CC with our trend line going the right way. MaxPC will be feeling the wrath of the Horde this year.

I think it would wake our team up if they actually started pushing our fannies as well! I was thinking of slowing down a bit but now i just have to get creative on where i get electricity from!!! :D

I hope the neighbors don't notice the sound there electrical meter makes when it starts spinning like a fan:p

Make sure you run green extension cables over to your house, the orange ones stick out like a sore thumb. My neighbor saw mine the same day I ran it. :rolleyes:

Damn it, there's still poo in the carpet from MaxPC, there's still Vegemite smeared on the walls from OCAU, don't even get me started on what AnandTech did in the bathroom, and now OCN is running free through the [H]? Does somebody have a hazmat suit?

I know, but we had 4 different carpet cleaners quit on us after last year's Chimp Challenge. They were all crying and praying as they ran out the door asking where the nearest hospital was. We were going to make someone do it, but OSHA has all these regulations and red tape....
