Hi all

I'm overclocking my i750 on a Gigabyte p55-ud3r to 4ghz, at 1.375 vcore (cpuz shows 1.32v). Prime temps after an hour are around 70c.

My overclock seems fine, but when I start my computer after non usage it often restarts itself 3 times to get to windows and loses the overclock. During this time a bios recovery takes place.

Anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

Have you tried prime for more than an hour? I wouldn't consider an o/c stable after one hour of prime.

Just sounds like it isn't stable yet - especially if you can't boot into Windows.

I ran the large initially and then the small last night. Looks like there was an error a few hours in. Im trying to decide between feeding it a bit more juice or bringing it down to 3.8 or something.

The safest option would probably be just to bring it down to 3.8 instead of flinging more voltage at it and risk damaging the chip in the long run because of electromigration. You should run a memory test as well to see if its your memory thats limiting your OC.

that should be plenty juice. what is your vtt at?
