I've been looking for a wat to overclock my AMd Athlon xp 2400+, but i don't see anything in BIOS, so what can i do? I have a FIC AM37 Motherboard. If sum1 can help me use my Aim Screen name Carblow12 , thanks

I don't know myself, but I don't think FICs are known for their overclocking capabilities. However, you have a chip with lotsa potential...

You can alway try the wire / pin mod for a higher multi if you mobo bios will suport one.

i have to go all that just to overclock, i thought u could do it in bios, but there is nothing in bios so what do i do?

If theres nothing in the bios then you are forced to mod the chip.

Either the wire mod or by blowing the L3 bridges to get a higher multi.

Depending on how old your chip is then you sould hopefully get it to run at a 17X multi but you my need to up the voltage to 1.75v to get it to run stable.
That may be hard if theres is no voltage ajustment in the bios.

im not going through all that that trouble when i need a new processor i will get one
