Want to crank up my Sapphire Radeon 9600 pro ultimate ed using redline v2

1/ is there a optimal ratio for the gpu and memory speeds like in ddr ram and a cpu .ie 400/300 (normal) setting

2/ The Vid card has passive cooling using a heatpipe. Would a fan rigged up to blow across heatsink make much of a difference. I have two case fans as is.

3/ how far can I go without cooking it.

4/ Given the choice would you give your kids a mean christmas and rush out an buy an X800xt pe

1) theres no ratio between core and ram speed on a vid card. They are completely seperate and the higher you can get each of em the better.

2) A fan will help , yes. how much I dont know.

3) To find out how far you can go and to actually take you there DL ATItool ( Google it ). Itll do both core and mem seperately and bump each, check stability, bump again etc etc until it hits an error and then clocks back down till stable again. Works very well.

4) Mean Christmas, you know they deserve it, the little devils.
