So I have the rig in sig and am trying to output 480i Component Video to an old Sony Trinitron TV. How should I go about doing this? I'd rather not fork out $40 for a VGA->Component Box.

I have:
MiniDP->VGA
DP->VGA
VGA cables
Component Cables

VGA to component cable? Like 5 or 10 bucks on Amazon from the quick search I did. I do not know if you can go from DP> VGA> Converter Cable though. I would imagine DRM prevents it somewhere along the line.

I saw those, but vga and componant are different signals. If its a passive cable, it will only work with projectors.
