Outlook XP migration to 2k3

I have Office XP installed on my system. I use outlook for all my e-mail, not Outlook express, regular OutlookXP. I want to upgrade to Outlook 2003. How would I go about transferring all me data from Outlook XP to 2003? Is it as simple as not un-installing Outlook XP and installing 2003 over it? Or is there some command I have to do in Outlook to make all my settings, e-mail, calendar and contacts migrate? Thanks in advance for your help!

Just stick in the CD and update to the new version. Make sure to back up your data - create a pst file and copy all of your messages.

heh, when I "upgraded" to 2003 from XP, I forgot to back up everything, but after I did a "clean install" of 2003, it kept everything, even the mail server settings.

Ya, even if you uninstall Office XP, your mail settings and PST will stick.
