When I put a rule in, I find that the junk mail filter catches the email and puts it in the Junk Folder where the my rule is meant to delete the message.

Basically, I created a simple rule that looks at the email's subject and body searching for a long list of words (example: sex, cialas, viagra, get your free, etc..) and set the message to delete.

All the emails still goto the Junk bin. Wy is the junk filter looking at the messages first.

I just want these emails to go away and ignor the junk filter.

What am I doing wrong?

Try adding the senders to the 'safe senders' list so that the Junk filter ignores those messages.

Right click / Junk Email / Add to Safe senders list
I'm not sure that really helps though as you will constantly get new email addresses from spam that you want to operate on.
You need to turn the Junk Email filter off
