So I have an IMAP account through my server.
I have a .pst file that apparently governs that and another .pst that governs the Personal Folders that has tasks, calendar, and clients.

I want to have my IMAP mail go into my Personal Folders.
If you need more information let me know, I'm dying to figure this out, primarily because Outlook 2007 will only show the Desktop Notification if new mail goes into the default (personal folders) inbox.

Stupid outlook, to bad every damn thing uses it.

Outlook's IMAP support is bloody awful, and I doubt you will ever get what you want to work. I don't know of a way to do it.

You can have the mail sent to any PST you want (specified in the accounts dialog), but getting reliable notifications..... that may be a problem.

If I was forced to use IMAP, I'd use Thunderbird in a heartbeat over outlook.

Yes, but I need product support, my phone demands bloody outlook.

Maybe I could get some sort of system to sync Thunderbird to Google Calendar and have Google Calendar send my phone a text/e-mail with the days schedule? Well... The big issue is that every thing I want to do with my contacts has to deal with outlook
