Outlook --> Authentication Failed error

Every now and again I get this error. Send/receive fails and I get an authentication error. Usually, I just run scanpst.exe and that fixes it. But not this time.

I've tried updating, but there are no updates. I've tried recreating my account, but that doesn't work. I still get, "Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password for this account in Account Settings. The server responded: -ERR authentication failed"

I've googled and people only say to maybe change the server port numbers or untick SPA. I've tried numerous combinations and no dice.

Anyone have any clue?

WTF? Now, it's working. I didn't even do anything.
