I am currently serving a 1 year tour in Iraq and the internet here has gone to wireless. Even with two companies that are offering service the signal strength that I have (even with a small booster that I was able to find) is negligible. There are some individuals here that purchased an outdoor adapter that one of the companies here sells (when they can get them in) and I've been told it will be well over a month before he's able to get another shipment of them in. I have found two places online that sell the same model that they have over here, but the problem is the price is just more than I am willing to pay.
Both companies I have found are based out of Great Britain and I cannot find anyplace that is based out of the US that sells these adapters. If anyone here can help me out and find the manufacturer and model number of this adapter and possibly someplace that sells them in the US for around $100.00 USD it would be greatly appreciated.
Here is the model that I have found:
http://thewifishop.net/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=120 and
http://wifi-warehouse.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=31
The lower priced one based on current monetary conversion is over 145.00 USD. So, if anyone can find someplace that sells them based out of the US or can get me the manufacturer and model of the adapter, I would be ecstatic.
