Out of Memory

Running specs in sig....and Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

My PC has been turned on for 30 minutes and I am using it as normal. It will suddenly get very laggy, Windows will change my default theme "because its out of memory" I change it back and it is fine..

Task Manager says my ram is fine....any ideas? I've even turned off my OC and it still happens..

you must have a program that is sucking up memory. I run 6 gb and i NEVER run out of memory.

do a virus scan, and look at the task manager and see what the top 10-20 programs are that are using memory.

how come nothing is cached?

my laptop running 7 32 bit with 1.5 gb ram has more cached then your system.

do you have caching turned off?

if thats the case all he has to do is increase the pagefile
