oh god pc-chips... every time i get a computer for repair that has a pc chips mobo i just tell them the mobo is bad without even turning it on, 99% of the time i have been right...

besides that, you get the award for most pink box (i giggled after i typed this, dunno if thats ok) also you get the award for largest power button i believe

I think all but 1 out of the 10 pc chips boards we purchased for a "cheap" computer are dead. And we purchased them about 1 year ago. Those things are junk.....

I had a friend that had a skt 462 athlon board back in 02 that was absolute trash. I don't remember the details about it, other than after he replaced it with an asus a7n8x he quit seeing multiple BSOD's per day. Plus they couldn't even spell "athlon" correctly in the manual, it was "althon". The manual was worthless, just like the board. Maybe I just had a bad experience.
