Hi,

Currently OC'ing a Xeon X5670 using an Asus P6T mobo and a Corsair H60 water cooler.

Using IBT on High I finally have this CPU stable at 4.2ghz using 1.362 volts (vcore)

I have speedstep and CE1 disabled, Ram set to 1600mhz, 21x multi, 200 bclk, 100PCI with everything else set to auto.

My temps max out at 73 under stress testing.

What other setting should I start to tweak to bring the vcore down to ultimately lower my temps?..

upgrade your cooler?.. the H60 its a average performer.. isn't better than lets say a Hyper 212 evo in push/pull.. so upgrade it and you will lower the temps.. 1.36 isn't bad at all for a 5670 at that speed.. you just need a better cooler.. try with an h100i or above... or a high end air cooler it will drop the temps better than a h60 for sure..

pretty much all air high-end coolers are quieter than any 120x120 AIO even from experience i have used a hyper 212 EVO to replace 2x H70 (which are better than the H60 by a good margin) and the evo 212 with push/pull of Cooler master Sickleflow at full blast its still quieter than the H70 with stock fans at 1500RPM and offer pretty much equal cooling performance... bigger 240mm/280mm AIO have a huge advantage of being able to use 4 fan in push/pull at a low RPM and still perform flawless.. specially high end AIO like the cooler master glacer 240L..
