I found where you dl the game, but when I click on the "download & install now" button it just sits there...would this be from server traffic?

right click on the steam icon and go to browse games

at the bottom of the new window is a button that says "register a game i already own"
click that and put in your key

you can now download it the steam by right clickign on hl2 ans sayign install

If you attempt to run the game by double clicking it will download. Check the Steam Monitor to see if it's downloading.

All of the other games I click and a screen pops up showing the dl....this one does nothing when I click on it.

Did you get a receipt for the purchase of HL2 in your E-Mail?

If you have it and still can't download HL2, I'd contact Steam tech support or head on over to their forums.

IT just started to downlaod now. Just odd I did not get a window like all of the other games...now lets see if it installs and runs :D

Has anyone tried downloading it lately? I just want to know if someone can even download it in a reasonable amount of time.
