ok, so i re installed windows 2000 tonight and am doing the updates to it, first i did bios, then service packs and now i am on to software.
i keep getting the computer to automatically go black then act like it was just turned on, ie post, pbios, loads windows...
what in the world could be causeing this?
also is it bad that my video card, VIa USB universal hoast controller, nic, fire wire controller, and raid controller all share the same IRQ? the IRQ is 11 for all of these devices....

edit i also get the bsod as well when i left it on last night doing a scan disk and defrag to a different drive...
it was a memory one

after looking in the event viewer, prior to the crash/forced reboot i get this
dmboot: Failed to start volume Volume3 (no mountpoint)
type: error
Event ID 2

and the error listed after that is
dmboot: Failed to start volume Volume2 (no mountpoint)
type: error
Event ID 2

upon further digging i found
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000d1 (0x00601430, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xbfc86934). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was saved in: C:\WINNT\Minidump\Mini010103-07.dmp.
event id: 1001

File replacement was attempted on the protected system file c:\winnt\system32\ksclockf.ax. This file was restored to the original version to maintain system stability. The file version of the system file is 5.0.2165.1.

could any of these be the culprit?
