OS Deployment Failure

Good afternoon.

I'm having an issue where my test OS deployment is failing right after the Install Operating
System action. I'm using MDT2012 (Update 1) and I'm deploying Win7 x64. I've gone through
my task sequence and there's absolutely nothing that stands out.

Your error message states to check the log files to determine the cause of the error, anything in them?
 
Hmmm, looks like the packages are the issue. After removing the packages, the image installs just fine. I've never had this problem before when deploying Vista with added packages/updates.

EDIT: I tried just adding IE9 and MSE and would get a similar error. I downloaded the packages using Microsoft Catalog and using the Windows Update Downloader tool.

Are you using WSUS to deploy updates? When we were using MDT to deploy OSs, I just put a step in the deployment to pull updates from WSUS. Since IE9 was approved in WSUS, it would come along for the ride. Just a thought.
