Hi All
Trying to OC my new machine, an E6750 with a Scythe Ninja in an Asus P5K, 4GB OCZ Platinum DDR2-800 eVGA 8800 GTS all in a P180b. I'm looking for quiet over speed, but would like to get the clocks as high as I can. What I've found is that w/FSB at 440 everything is fine. At FSB 450, I can run Orthos for hours, or ATItool (Scan for artifacts) for hours, but if I run both simultaneously I get a blue screen within 1 minute. Any ideas? I haven't read about running both of these simultaneously, am I stressing the machine beyond what a typical gaming session would present?
One other thing, I run nvMonitor and I've noticed that the GPU gets up to 82C, but the Aux1 fan shows 4 rpm. Any way to force the GPU fan on?
Thanks!
