So I've gone through my inventory of computer parts and I have a lot of components I'm not willing to part with (Mostly server backup parts) -- what's a good, efficient way to store these all? I've considered those 4" yellow stackable bins that I have in my garage which I keep nuts, bolts and other hardware in.

If it is parts you might actually use someday, the storage drawers will do. If it is the usual useless crap that comes with MOBOs, video cards, hard drives, etc... a big cardboard box will do.

I would suggest those stackable bins, and also a label-maker. You can label the bins according to what parts you've put in them (cables, screws, etc) and it'll make your life easier when you need a spare part.

Ah, perfect.

I used to rely on the large cardboard box method, but it was impossible to get to anything. But it'll be great for motherboards and my larger items though, like PSUs.

So I'll use a large bin for the larger items, and the those smaller drawer-like bins for PCI cards. Thanks folks!
