@ Fail i sent in the samsung F3 and got a Refund. so i bought the WD 750 but its not the fact thats its Loud its the fact that it as a really high Pitch Whine that you can hear even in the next room. i just bought another F3 from newegg so lets hope this one is fine.
 
i went to bestbuy and bought the drive anyways. The box states the HDD is a WD3200KSRTL but that is NOT what is in the Box. The box was 100% sealed and it has a WD3200AAKS drive in it.

How is the WD3200AAKS drive? Windows shows the Drive as the aaks
 
I found out what the problem was with the high Pitched Whine. it was neither my HDD or PSU as i thought sure did sound like it was coming from that area. My MX518SE i bought on the forums Brand New was emmiting the Whine. im assuming the mouse is going bad.

Depends on which version. The newer version, which you most likely have, is faster than the WD 750GB drive you have. The older version is slower than the WD 750GB drive you have.
 
well i was doing some tests using Tune HDD Pro on the drives and the results speak for themselves. im also returning the Western digital

ok i have a quick question for anyone that can help. I have 2 drives im deciding on right now.

WD Blue WD3200AAKS (Very Quiet, Quiet loading): access time : 15.8ms 162.4Burst
WD Black WD7501AALS (Very Loud, Loud loading): Access time: 11.8ms 178.8 burst

The AAKS Fluctuates big time alot of the time the access time minimum is hitting 2.4MS the date on the drive is nov 16th 2009. I just cannot take the noise the Black is putting out. has a really high pitch Whine and the loading noise is horrible. i just placed an order on another F3

What's the average speeds? Burst doesn't mean that much.
 
Yup you have the older AAKS drive. IIRC, the newer 320GB AAKS drive could hit about 88MB/s to 90MB/s or so.
