I recently placed an order direct from EK Waterblocks for a GTX 580 block. Order was shipped on the 22nd of November. I figured Thanksgiving would add a day or two of delay but its been past 10 days. Now I'm getting worried a little. EK are based out of Slovenia and that is where the product ships from.

Curious if anyone else here on [H] have ordered direct from EK? Can you provide a best guess as to how long it took to receive your product?

Took me a few weeks to receive my EK blocks. I ordered a NB SB kit and mosfets for my X58 board. The tracking number wasn't really useful, but if I remember correctly, it took at least 2 weeks to arrive, probably longer. Has your tracking info been updated recently?
 
Not sure what to make of the tracking. The Posta.si site and number EK provide makes little to no sense.

Since it ships direct from Slovenia, will it be arriving by UPS, FedEx or USPS? I figure the block has to go through customs but who takes over shipping from there...
 
I think mine was DHL, but I don't remember exactly. I do remember that I had to pay cash on delivery, so you can look forward to that.
 
It's either DHL or USPS and it will take between 1 to 3 weeks depending on customs.
 
Out of curiousity, why order direct? Performance-PC's and FrozenCPU sell their products? I have my 580 ek block from Frozen CPU. I have had it for a couple of days. (haven't installed it yet)...
 
The return policy at FrozenCPU for anything watercooling just sucks....might be one reason
 
There shouldn't be much of a return policy on blocks, almost all are RMA with manufacturer only.
 
Unless you change your mind about it. For example, my 5870 blocks arrived the day the GTX 570 was released, imagine my dismay!
 
Im pretty sure EK would replace any defective parts bought at any of the retailers in the US. You probably paid more and have to wait 3 weeks for your product instead of buying it in the US and having it in 2 days.....
 
I never really thought about ordering from anyone else.

After writing a little here, I decided to double check my prices with Performance-PCs.com for my X58 mosfet and NS/SB blocks. Turns out it cost $30 USD more to ship from Performance. Of course, the difference is that I'd have the parts in about 1 week, but $30 is $30.
