hey guys,

Any one order the 24" dell from Mayur Patel? supposedly he is selling the monitor for $999 + tax. I have been trying to call him for the past 3 day, Thursday and Friday of last week and today but he hasn't responded to my emails or called me back after i have left him several voicemails.

If you guys know anyone else that is selling this monitor for this price, Please help.

I got an email from Mayur Patel today and he said that the cheapest price he can offer is $1079 + tax + free shipping. He was doing $999 10 days ago but the prixes have gone up now.

and on a side note, Mayur told me that "they" sent out a mass email to all reps saying that they can't sell this monitor below $1079 + tax. Makes me think, how on earth did "srz3" get this monitor for $899 + tax???????????
 
He probably just said that to get more people take his $999 deal.
 
Hi all i did called dell about replacing my cancelled order and the best i got was 1019 shipped to ny.

edit... mmhmm 1002 us dollhairs baby! So yeah not quite the ultra low 850 or whatever but that still aint bad... now to play the waiting game

I got the $899 deal too. NO TAX + FREE SHIPPING. Although my customer rep was different.
MY rep told me that the deal is only good till tomorrow 8pm CST.

it was 930 before tax and with tax 1002 and it had free shipping, i talked to Jerome Rawls, Phone: 1800-456-3355 ext: 7958429... but i think if you just call in and do what i did which was just call 800-879-3355 ext. 45503 and say "i've talked to people who have gotten the monitor at around 1000 dollars w/ shipping" and he just made it happen, went pretty smooth.

Those prices are extremely nice!! Im in Norway, but will be moving to spain soon, and checking prices both here (norway) and in spain, and they are more expensive.

Dell Norway has the 2405fpw to: 1675 USD!!!
Dell Spain has the same monitor to : 1,556 USD!!!

So thats sad!!, do you guys think if I call a rep from US, that they could serve me with one beauty at american prices? (and send it like a gift, so I dont have to pay taxes in my country??) that would be great!!

I believe Dell should take a serious chat with their European distributors, cause they are taking to high prices!!

well im thinking about ordering at the $999 price through the biz section, which comes to like $1107 after taxes and shipping. but imma call dell today and talk to someone about it, i want it really bad, but i dont want to be the only person that pays over a grand for it, lol. i just dont want to wait too long then have to pay $1199 +tax+shipping for that damn thing. any suggestions? i am selling my 20.1" in a couple days so i cant wait very long for a coupon...

Anyone else who ordered on the 12th still waiting? Jennifer got back to me and said it would be shipped "soon" but I wonder why I'm the last person to have it shipped to them :(. As of this evening my estimated delivery time is still May 5th. And it's still "in production" in the build stage.

Best he could get me was 871.92 shipped+tax. :D
Now to all that want this deal call Alek Skilltrn ext 7287692.
He can only do this deal til 12 midnight 4/18.

WTF!!!! i just had to pay $999 + tax and free 3-5 day shipping through Jennifer. and cant get ahold of that alek guy now.
 
well i am a little pissed i paid a little more than most, but i just checked status and its in transit to local carrier, thats less than 24hours for shipment, which is awesome so i am now very happy, i make about $50 anyways so screw it, atleast i didnt have to pay $1199, hehe. ill post when it finally gets here, i only got free 3-5 day shipping so i hope its here by saturday :)
