Alot of GOOD stuff? I tried to choose the BEST of the BEST purchasing everything from 1 site and this was the 'highest end' I could find.. I have a EverCool WC-202 water cooling setup now but it's crappy.

i think that pump is overpriced but Meh.....

i would have went with a fillport but it's a personal preference....

good choice on the blocks

smart move on the rad also.. should be all you need ..

best pump you can get... did you get it from petras?

The best block would be the STORM but it isnt in stock anywhere and if you if one on ebay they go for alot...

Yeh after searching over 20+ sites everyone was out of stock on the Storm and the MCR220QP radiator so I had to get something else..
When you say it's expensive for the pump is it because I overpaid or because the pump is just expensive? Yes I purchased everything off of the PetraTechSite.
They say I shouldn't have a problem slipping the 7/16 tubing over the barbs but I have a fealing thats not gonna be the case.. I am also stumped as to how I will mount the radiator internally into the Lian Li PC-65B (on top?/on floor tilted?) and whether I will have to mount it externally if I cannot cut up my brand new case.. What I have picked would be the "Best Setup" other than using Swiftech parts right?

yeah the pump with top is expensice you didnt overpay.....

also your stuff is really good.. the storm would be better but no one has it.... the radiator is a good one, but there are better...

I have the same rad and a LL PC-7b

here is how i mounted mine...

It looks tilted becasue the fans arent screw on at this time.. they are now, i just didnt have the screws at the time

I am going to put my rad inside my case someday, it will fit in the fisrt 2 5 1/4 bays and i have the MO dispay and nothing in the first 2 bays. i am going to use a 3x120 Radgrillz even thought it is only a 2x120 rad to allow more air flow in my case...

Hell no to those radiators lol.. I was on a 250$ budget then it ended up going to 325$ don't know how I managed to scrounge up the other 2 dollars in paypal to complete the order. I was waiting for quite some time till PTS had everything in stock as I wanted to order from one reliable source. I am quite pleased with my purchase can't wait till friday when the parts come in and I get to install my PSU to take some measurments. I really want to cut out a hole and mount the radiator up top but for now I think it might just have to lay tilted on the case floor because I don't have any fans or a grill for it yet.. Is there any template or someting for the Black Ice Pro 2x120 so I can get a nice masking job (no ghetto cuts) set and maybe cut it out this weekend. I wanted to know also about the tubing I should be fine with it going over the 1/2 barbs right? (will be zip tied for safety aswell) And what would be the correct way to route my tubing? Res > Pump > CPU > GPU > RAD? Or some other way? Thanks for all the quick responces and help.

just use a little boiling water and force with the 7/16ths ... no clamps necessary if you do it right... here's how i mounted my bip3 on top of a similar case (superflower)

also there isnt a template for the BIP rad but I made a template with 2 120mm fans for the screw holes and then mounted it with out cutting the holes for the tubing/barbs and then used a pencil to mark where they needed to be. I also mounted my fillport in front of it also.

The pump w/ PetrasTop has a top inlet. My res has a lower inlet than where the pump inlet sits. Would that cause my pump to not operate correctly?

It will cause problems when you're initially filling the system.

It shouldn't when it's totally full.

Now to whoever it may concern I am in the process of cutting the tubing and was wondering if this is the proper loop... RES > PUMP > RAD > CPU > GPU > RES.

It's been testing since 3pm so about 2 hours so far and no leakage whatsoever. Thats without ZIP-Tying anything just 7/16 tubing over 1/2 barbs.. I have been cutting up 2 of my MC14 ramsincks becuse the MCW60 block wouldnt fit on my 7950GT if I didnt. I wanted to know when I was cutting them they both fell off... I put them back on a using my moms hair dyer on low/high I heated it up and let it cool then did that again and they seem to be on there tight but should I not have done that / used some sort of glue instead?

Well after everything has been installed I am not satisfied with the temps.. I have the same temps of about 40c idle and 55c load that I did before for the CPU.. The GPU is fine at 34c but what can it be? When I applied the GPU AS5 I spread it out. On the CPU I added a thin line down the middle of the IHS and let the block spread it out.. Should I have done that differently?

what CPU, what vcore, and what mhz is it at.....

also use coretemp and see what it reads

NO? LOL.. If ANYTHING I will take the CPU block off an re-seat it with AS5 but no thanks.

It's a E6600 @ 3.4 vCore = 1.44 with EIST enabled it runs 2.27 vCore = 1.05
IDLE TEMP = from 35-40c and LOAD TEMP = from 40-55c *(wich is what I had before)*
The GPU is fine though idling at likw 29-34c and staying under 40c loaded

Do the springs on my CPU block look like there doing there job? It might also be that I aplied a thin line of AS5 down the middle instead of a rice grain in the center..
