Not really case mods, but I'm painting a case atm, so this is to match with the orange G15.

It was kind of a rush job, and I used pretty ghetto paint (Krylon Fusion). So far good experiences with the paint :)

Here are the rest of the orange pics, but I repainted it blue.

i think the metal flake look ruins it.
i would go for blue on the sides, and orange in the middle, but that's just me.

That's not metal flake, the first coat is black, then second is blue, then black and then blue and this is what turned out.

Krylon ain't cheap!

Then again when I saw the prices for Krylon paint I was also making less than $100 a week and trying to figure out how to make that stretch for two. Now that I'm getting paid weekly and getting decent paychecks again, I'd probably look at it and be like "pffft."

couple things:

if i where to do it, i would have masked off the logitech symbol... would have looked more professional.

also when you repainted it to that blue color (god knows why..), you can still see the orange on the sides.

Yeah that's what I thought of doing, except the Logitech logo was all scratched off anyways.

I forgot to clean off the orange on the sides, so that turn out bad, I guess I'll have to take it off and clean that up.

What looks better? Beacuse using orange mouse with my whole black/blue PC stuff doesn't look too good.

at this point i think the mouse is pretty much ruined in any visual quality it may have had.

I say it's very salvageable. just needed to be sanded and primered before the new paint job. I'd also make my own sticker or something to cover up the logitech impression on it.

Like Jinxyboi said, nothing a good sanding can't fix

But this time disassemble the mouse completely
so you can reach every corner
oh yeah, multiple LIGHT layers please and give it time to dry between layers

First paint job so sorry. Thanks for advice, will use in future :)

It's a helluva lot better than anything I'd do on my first try, even with all the guidance in the world and a "Painting Mice for Dummies" book right in front of me.

Props!
