Hi, everyone! (Hi, Dr. Nick!) I currently manage all of the mail merge documents for my company (a pharmaceutical call center). As of right now, we are using Word to complete merges, which is really slowing down our Siebel database when we have high volumes of document generation going on. So, the team is looking into using Oracle's BI Publisher instead of the current Word solution we're using.
I have two questions:
1. Do any of you have experience using BI Publisher & Siebel together? Thoughts, opinions?
2. Can any of you give me a book or two that I should look at so I can bone up on BI Publisher basics?
