making a thread as they are kinda rare and ive only seen a couple youtube vids talking about them or rushing though a refoam, and this section is public(i dont use other forums either). i think i posted before and afters of my CS5 re-foam job but heres a bit more detail.
covers the LX5/X77 bookshelf speakers and the CS5 centre channel.
pics show the gist of it, it aint rocket surgery. the key is the surrounds, these fit without splicing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G5796PTQ

blow out after a loud floyd session...

disassemble the speaker by removing the front grill, rubber grill post plugs and the 4 phillips screws.

removed all the foam and cardboard filler ring (fills the gap between driver and front plate of the housing, rubber doesnt need it.)
how bad the foam collapsed just from picking off the cardboard filler ring around the edge of the foam surrounds.

test fit, looks good.

clean up the cone and then take a brass wire wheel/brush to the basket. clean both thoroughly with iso. alcohol.

apply glue around the backside of the cone edge ~5mm wide, slip surround around cone and into position on the basket. make sure the edges are even all around and that the roll has even spacing.
lift edge of surround and apply around the basket. clean up excess with iso.
glue i used: https://www.amazon.com/Aleenes-Quick-Tacky-Glue-4-Ounce/dp/B004XMV9JM which is one of the recommended options.

backside, check spacing, it should be even all around. if not, gently shift the surround to even it out.

spacing between cone edge and top of the roll should be even all the way around, there should be no "kinks" or "bends" in the rubber.
new surround ring vs intact oem foam, to show spacing matches pretty damn close.
yup should be just right...

tape down the surround edges to hold it in place while drying.
add a bit of weight to keep the cone pressed into the glue on the backside of the cone.
let sit for recommended dry time. reassemble it, then id let it sit for another 12hr+ before use, then test it easy at first to make sure there are no loose spots needing touchup glue...
