In the Home Page of [H] is a topic on the Optimus Keyboard, I see it's out on february 1.

Has anyone heard a price on this thing yet?

I really want one!!
 
Its not comming out feb1st. It will cost a ton of money. Dont get your hopes up.
 
I'm guestimating a $200 - $400 price range, being they listed it's price in the FAQ as that of a "good mobile phone".

Either way, i'm looking forward to it - something fresh and new is always nice. Although I definately see some games coming out for it.. user mods or whatever. And, at LANs, when you wake up to find your friends make porno-keys, assuming you're friend can afford the keyboard. :-P
 
If you listen to TWiT (This Week in Tech) you heard that the estimated cost of parts for this keyboard are around 200.00, to determine most sale prices you can just multiply that by 3-4x. Holding that parts to price strategy true, that would make the keyboard between 600-800.00 when it releases.
 
OUCH, $250 I could almost swallow, but three time that...My g-15 will have to do for now!!

The estimate I saw was a BOM of $1/key...and a retail price in the $450 range.
