Are there any monitors with anything similar to this coating out now? I got a cheap NEC 90gx2 to use cause my old viewsonic crapped out on me and was amazed at how much better text was on it. so that got me searching for the 20wmgx2 because i wanted a widescreen and i believe it has the same coating on it. no luck thus far in tracking one down. Would the Acer G245Hbmid have the same look to it? Thanks for any help in advance.

Seem be showing up less and less. They have been out of production a long time now so they are almost impossible to find. I found one on ebay, but the guy wants $350 for it. Way to high in my opinion.

I believe the most common term these days is Glossy.
The Acer bmid is glossy, there is also the Asus LS246H which seems to be even better than the Acer, though it does cost more.
