I am in the market for two optical drives; a dvd/cd-rom and a dvd/cd-rw and i am looking for suggestions as far as dependability goes...
 
DVD-ROM : Lite-On 165/166 or Toshiba 1712.
DVD-CDRW combo drive : Lite-On 48161 or SOHC-5232K, or Sony CRX300, which is a 48161 anyway.
