I have an Opteron 165, and the ASRock 939Dual motherboard. I am using the OCWorkshop Beta Bios 1 to enable above 275 FSB speeds stably. And am using the Zalman CNPS7700-Cu Heatsink with 2GB of Ram (mixed types (2x512 PNY Value DDR400) and (1x1GB PC4000 OCZ Gold Edition)). I am using very relaxed timings (the stuff reqired by the 512MB sticks and easily supported by the OCZ stuff. Anyway my question is why does my computer reboot or crash when I am playing at game when overclocking to 2.6 GHz (289x9). I would have no question in my mind about this other than the fact i can Prime95 for 6 hours streight on both cores without any problems or temp issues above 53C at 1.4V. I have turned the OC down to 2.3Ghz and turned off Automatic reboots in winXP for errors (So I'll get a BSOD if the problem happens). I suspect its the memory and am currently getting money to buy a 2nd One GB stick of OCZ ram.
