Opteron 165 OC question

Hi, im at 2.6 GHz right now and i was prime testing.. after about 3h 20mins this alarm started beeping that my PWMIC is too high (65C) and if i want to shut off the computer! I panicked and stopped the test.

these are the temps at idle.. cpu goes to ~52C on load, are these ok? or should i wait for better cooling??

You should consider getting an aftermarket NB cooler and more case fans. It looks like your CPU could use a custom heatsink too, what are you using now?

Even with huge overclocks of 50% or so, Optys usually do not go above 50 degrees (under load) unless your cooling totally sucks...

chipset fan won't help lower PWMIC temps

do something like this. keeps the ram cool as well
