I am setting up a gaming build for my pc and I've never OC'ed before and don't know how to but, I'm looking for a good motherboard that can support up to 4GB ram, have a 939 chipset that is compatible with the AMD Opteron 165 Dual Core processor, AND support the MSI Radeon x1900xtx video card. any help would be appreciated. thanks :)

if you want to use your X1900XTX in the future for crossfire then i would get a crossfire board right now. asus' A8R32-MVP is a nice board with great overclocking ability and is reasonably priced. but if you have the money the dfi CFX3200 crossfire board is also great for overclocking. there is also a abit AT8 32x crossfire board, it is the least expensive of the bunch but has the basic features just missing some components that others have. it also has a issue where it can not go over 270FSB but that can be fixed in a bios update.

The AT8 32X is hardly a basic board, in fact it has some features that the others don't.
& as you say the ~277HTT wall on the original BIOS is history with a BIOS revision released some time ago.

when i meant 'basic', i meant the same features as the others just missing some extra stuff like the extra gigabit ethernet port and the extra pci slot. some people find those two things to be important and the OP didn't specifiy if those were important but it seems like the OP doesn't know what good crossfire boards are out. i've read user reviews with this board on other forums and it is no doubt, a bang for the buck crossfire board and about the bios release i did mention that it would be fixed in a bios release but i was unaware that they had already released it, and to be honest i would've gotten one too but at the time of purchase it was out of stock and the asus crossfire board was on sale for the same price as the abit so i went for it.
