Looking to buy HDTV - I think I've narrowed my search down to some offered by Panasonic. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about these??

Panasonic TH-42PX60U - This one is the one I'm leaning towards right now
Panasonic TH-42PX75U
Panasonic TH-42PX77U
Panasonic TH-42PX600U
 
I have nothing but good to say about Panny plasmas...I started out with a 42" ED plasma over 4 years ago and then got a 720p model a couple years ago. I still haven't seen any of my friends projection, lcd (even 1080p) or DLP tv's look as good as my Panny does for all around use. Plasma technology seems to do the best job with regular definition tv which is a bonus. Personally I have been eyeing the TX-42PX75U as a good bang for the buck...but any of those would be good choices.

BTW Joe...do you know what the number preceding the U stands for?

I think it may be the generation of the panel but I'm not sure...I do know that the 75U and 77U differentiates between glossy and anti-glare though.
 
Thanks again Joe. Let me run this by you or anyone else. My brother in-law got word that I was looking for a TV and can apparently get me a deal on some Sharp TVs. Anyone have these or heard anything on these?

If I were going to get an lcd it would most likely be a Sharp. But having said that..I don't have any lcd experience other than desktop monitors so I'll let others comment.;)
