opinion on chenbro case

It's a nice case, I would get it if I was on a budget but I would go for it.

not a flame or anything but am i the only one who thinks the fron is atrocious?

Nope, i think its fugly as well

Its a nice case with great features, but looks like a$$

can i get some opinions from [H]ard gawd's please ;)

thanks for your opinions guys. im just looking more at the features.

Are you saying that just because I have a low post count makes my opinion less important? :D Anyways...

Feature wise its a great looking case

lol, just trying to razz you guys up.

i was working with it today, besides some very minor cosmetic things, it looks really cool, the drives fit flush behind the face.

put it this way im using a 15$CAD case right now. theres more tin in a pop can then my current case.

we bring antec in at work, the sonate is nice, but i have 2 problems with it.

1. $ plain and simple
2. that paint would not last here, you TOUCH the case, and it gets finger prints.

but i agree, they are also nice, i also didnt like that silver slider thing on the front.

only case i had that had a mobo tray was the Q500, nice case, but was too damn big, (then months later i bought a bigger one for a server). mobo tray doesent really matter to me, was kinda a nice feature, but unless ur changing the mobo every week, hardly necessary.

As someone else has said no removable motherboard tray no big deal sort of. The right side panel doesn't come off either. No reset button. Unless I'm missing something on mine the drive cage isn't removable as stated unless they're referring to the optional additional bay. There is room for 3 3.5" drives one external and two internal and they are spaced real close together. The place for a front fan is below the drives so no additional cooling for them. The card retention mechanism is a nice feature though. Once you put a CD drive into it the front looks like crap unless you stealth the drive.
If I hadn't have needed a case that day I wouldn't have bought mine.

Personally, I like the looks of the case. I don't see anything wrong with it. It looks much nicer than a lanboy

saw the same thing at PC Club...

OMG no .. the thing in person looks like a speaker, has poor quality case.

very WIDE and round looking.. it still looks weird and crap i think you willl be very unsatisfied

IMO, it has NO modding potential..

One word. Orange.

No offense, but I think it's ugly as well. Nice features but the front is horrendous. Looks like somebody fingerpainted it, albeit with high-quality paint. Isn't it like the Chenbro Spider or something? Anyways I would get a Cooler Master or Lian-Li instead :)

The case is okay I guess, personally I don't like it but that's because I like cases that have modding potental even if I'm not going to mod it as well as simple design. I think I'll stick my foot into my mouth by saying that these are the kind of cases that I like:

Other then thatI have a Lanboy that I'm modding the Hell out of, it's kind of ugly too but it won't be after I'm done. Then again I'm planning out a custom built case too.

Like said erlier many times, great features, strange design.

The Chenbro case would look better if you stealth all your drives, and do something about that odd window.

The front panel is kinda strange, but not breaking the asethetics is rather important due to the rounded edges of the bay covers.

I can't say anything about the bottom of the front panel, but some slight mod work could possibly fix that up.

Maybe Chenbro was going for something attention getting, but just strange enough to get poeple to mod it into something more attractive.

If you care, here's the case I like. Kinda James Bond-ish, but very nice. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProdu...1-129-141&catalog=7&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=1

BTW the guy who took the front bezel shot for newegg should have wore a heather grey shirt instead of red so he wouldnt have messed up the pic that badly.

i gotta agree, chenbro had a good idea, but it kinda blew up on the outside, if the drives were stellthed i would be all over it.

i guess im trying to justify somthing for me to spend my money on lol

Hehe, I never noticed that slightly red reflection before :)

It's an alright case, it looks better in blue at the review site. (compared to the orange) I don't think I'd get it though.

wassup my Bellevue brotha!

Well, personally, I think it is excellent the way premods go. I have had a look around this case in person (One of my local computer stores has it) and it has excellent features, and personally I think it looks good. Go ahead, flame me, but I like it. It also got a good review at gruntville, I beleive.
