Does anyone know how to pop open a 3com 4900 switch by any chance? :)

I managed to get a decommissioned 4900 SX from work, but the fan is making a horribly loud sound. So I wanted to check it out.... but I can't figure out how to open it without damaging it :\

I think those are pressed on, you might need a putty knife to hold the side open and pry it apart.

j'

In any event, google might help!

Hmmm just managed to get the top off... damaged it quite a bit in the process. Its very very tight :\

Oh well. It still works and the damage isn't visible :)
