I have installed OpenIndiana and it shows the network ethernet controller driver problem. How am I supposed to install the driver for this to allow internet access? I have the driver disc that came with the motherboard.

thats all well and good, is there even a solaris driver for your NIC? There may not be.

You're not SOL, you just need to give into the Intel gods and pay the $20 for a Intel NIC :)

Yeah I was fearing that would be the only thing to resolve this. I just bought this hardware, guess I need to buy more now.
