Hi,
With a good deal of help from threads on here I have repurposed a couple of old servers as backup storage for my vmware environment. Only have a single 1Gb NIC on each box configured for iSCSI at the moment. Getting good enough results for backups in IOMeter benchmarks but do appear to be link limited. Can I add the other NIC in and use Round Robin? I have 3 ESXi hosts with 2 1Gb iSCSI NICs each.
BTW - right now I can't even seem to have NICs active on separate VLANs - one admin, one iSCSI. Activating one seems to de-activate the other. Any ideas why? But once things are setup I'd probably forgoe the admin NIC for 2 iSCSI NICs if possible.
thanks,
jb
