I have a Radeon 9800 pro, the prob is whenever I play Open GL games like Doom 3 or Quake 3 arena the refresh rates drops from 85 Hz to 60 Hz and it hurts the eyes a lot? How do I increase the refresh rates?
 
I am having difficulty understanding your quest. You're stating that when you're playing your OpenGL games your monitor refresh rate starts to decrease as you play?
 
i use reforce and i just set the resolution to whatever highest my monitor will support at 100hz which is 1152,, if i run any higher it won't go any higher than 75 b/c of the physical limits of my monitor,, so try changing ur resoluion to what you have set for 85 ie.. if u have 1024 at 85 and ur running 1152 go down to 1024 and that should do it
