opengl 1.5 vs 2.0

ok im browsing some geforce 6800's on newegg, and i noticed some have opengl 2.0 instead of 1.5 whats the diffrence, if any?

The drivers.
Bit of nonsense really, you can install the latest drivers on anything, back to TNT or something, and have OpenGL 2.0 support.

Note that a TNT will not run most (if any) OGL2.0's new features because it lacks any kind of shaders. Generally, a DX9-class card can take advantage of most OpenGL 2.0.

Yes, but it does so in the drivers, the hardware features of all 6800s are identical... That's what I meant to say. As long as you have a 6800, installing the latest drivers will always give you OpenGL 2.0 support... so I wonder why they bother to list that in the first place.
