Opendns preventing firefox from searching from the address bar

I've tried the about:config thing and installed the feeling lucky fixer addon and it still redirects me to the opendns search page. Can anyone with this problem shed some light?

you may have some plugin that has hijacked your browser search to a maleware site, as a result opendns is redirecting to their site. but that is just a guess.

Look for keyword.url in about:config and change it to

http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=

Or look for anything with "opendns" if the above doesn't work.

OpenDNS does NXDOMAIN hijacking. I don't think there's a fix other than not using OpenDNS.
