Hope you guys might have some ideas for me. I have a client that wants a basic inventory software. The requirements are that it has a web interface and is pre-built allowing us to just go in and modify it to our needs. Basically he just wants a way to manage his used equipment and know who it's being rented out to and which sales person has the account. That's the bare bones of what he wants to do I would like to see him inventorying all the items in the store allowing all the employees to know if something is in stock or needs to be ordered. And that allows you to walk around with a tablet and handle the inventory process. Thanks in advance.

Yes they are a medical supply company they deal with power mobility chairs and lift chairs stuff like that. And they want to be able to inventory there stock.

Tracmor is open source. Not very good but it's free. Don't look at the DB schema.

GLPI might be more than what they need but open source and many features.

GLPI is the Information Resource-Manager with an additional Administration- Interface. You can use it to build up a database with an inventory for your company (computer, software, printers...). It has enhanced functions to make the daily life for the administrators easier, like a job-tracking-system with mail-notification and methods to
