Ok, so I'm trying to play Infinity Combat Prototype.

It plays just fine (other than to demanding for my laptop) Which is an Asus G2S A1 (Core 2 duo 2.4 ghz, 4 gigs DDR2, 8600 GT 256).

But for some reason my new desktop can't play it. It freezes in the loading screen, which only takes my laptop about 10 seconds to get threw at most depending on server traffic.
New desktop (XFX 6970(currently stock), I7 950 4.2 ghz, 12 Gigs DDR3 2200mhz, 2x 1TB Raid 0). I can play Crysis and Metro 2033 maxed, so the hardware isn't causing issues in DX games at all. (except for the older fallout games, and Mega race, and such... I think those were Open GL though.. not sure.)

Anyone have any idea's or hints of what I can do so I can play these games?

In refference to Infinity Combat Prototype. Got the other games working by selecting a compatibility mode for them.

Ok, I tried what you suggested and that didn't work. So I went back and started trying it in different compatibilitys. Now I got it to load almost all the way into the game. It just stops at "preparing to enter the game" It at least loads everything to that point. In Windows NT service pack 5 compatibility mode.

So any suggestions?

That didn't work either. I'm still getting stuck at the same spot. I'll see if I can't pull up an error in a log file or something.
