Sapphire ATI Radeon X1800 XT Crossfire Edition 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI Retail Boxed (PCI-Express)

AVAILABILITY:
Expected: Early November

I think that ATi didnt say anything about it so it doesnt become another paper lounch, they are probably going to announce it once it hits the shelfs.

O i just realised something when running two XT's together you would in reality have 768MB of memory!

As far as I know Crossfire just like SLi doesn't share memory.

i know but its still cool to think that there is 768mb of video memory avilable in one system. SLI can only do 512MB

And we all know how useful 512mb is in gaming
Actually, if you read the reviews, 512mb of ram is very usefull @ 1600 x 1200 with high AA/AF.

the benefits of having more memory can only be seen when a powerful enough gpu can actually utilize it...otherwise it's just a marketing gimmick...OMG MY 512MB 6200 PWNS YOUR 128MB 6600 GT! AND I PAYED LESS FOR IT LOLZZ!!!11!!
