Only seeing option for DisplayPort 1.1 or 1.2 in new monitor

I just picked up a Samsung 32" Odyssey G51F QHD 180Hz monitor and the specs listed show DisplayPort 1.4 but when I go to the monitor settings, it only gives me the option for 1.1 or 1.2. Is Samsung getting their specs wrong or do they just put a cheap cable with the monitor?

They definitely put cheap cables with their monitors. The one that came with my Odyssey 57" G9 isn't long enough to connect a computer on the right side of it to the actual monitor input. The cable isn't as long as the monitor is wide. On top of that, its cheap. I don't think I could get 240Hz with it or anything like that.
