Yesterday I was listening to some music with my headphones on my computer. I then went into counter strike 1.6 and when i play I hear out of both side of my headphones. Then when someone talks i only hear it with my right side. When i send an AIM it only plays the sound on the right side. I tried reset my sound card by going to ProgramFiles/Creative/Sound Blaster Audigy/Creative Restore Defaults but that didnt work. I tried reseting my computer and nothing. Now when i listen to music it only comes out the right side.

I pluged in my speakers to my sound card (only the back 2 and the center one) and kepy my headphones pluged in to the main slot. I turned on my speakers and i only get the right side so i know my headphones are not bad.

Does anyone have any clue on what I did or how I can fix it?

Bump for ideas.

Im gunna try to uninstall the drivers and reinstall. If that doesnt work i think it might be a bad sound card. Ill just have to use my dfi onboard. (its prolly even better than my sound card :D)

Sounds like the cans/speakers are not plugged in all of the way.... are you running a splitter of some sort?

it was my headphones. i could unplug it half way and hear out of both but it sounded like i was in a metal box. I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled and it seems to be working fine right now.

Ill post if somthing else may go wrong
